   What requirements should be met when using machine tools to produce stamping and drawing dies

Stamping and stretching die has provided effective help in our die industry and made more and more people understand its advantages. Therefore, with the continuous progress of society, ordinary machine tools are far from enough in the production and processing of stamping and stretching die. Let's talk about the requirements of stamping and stretching die on machine tools in detail:

Stamping drawing die

1. High speed and high-power high-speed machining is the development direction. High speed milling has shown great advantages in stamping and drawing die machining. In order to adapt to the processing of the cavity surface of the stamping and stretching die, the radius of the tool should be less than the smaller circumferential radius of the cavity surface, so as to avoid the "interference" between the tool and the workpiece in the processing process. Due to the small tool diameter, the spindle speed is required to be very high. The spindle speed of foreign high-speed machining machine tools has reached 40000 ~ 100000 R / min, and the rapid feed speed can reach 30000 ~ 60000 min. The rough and finish machining of cavities and other parts of stamping and stretching die parts are often completed in one-time clamping of the workpiece, so the spindle power should be large. The spindle power of medium-sized stamping and stretching die milling machines and machining centers is often 10 ~ 40kW, and some are even higher;

2. With multi axis linkage and good comprehensive cutting ability of deep hole cavity, the cavity of stamping and drawing die is mostly composed of complex spatial six curved surfaces and grooves, and many stamping and drawing dies have deep hole cavity. In order to achieve high precision, high speed and high stability machining of 3D surface, the machine tool needs multi axis linkage and has good comprehensive cutting ability of deep hole cavity. The five axis linkage machining center can be used. In addition to the linear motion of three coordinates, there are also the feed motion of two rotating coordinates. The milling head or worktable can carry out continuous rotary feed with multi axis linkage, so it is suitable for machining stamping and drawing die parts with complex cavity surface;

3. As the stamping and stretching die is developing in the direction of large-scale, stamping and stretching dies of several tons to dozens of tons are very common. Therefore, it is required that the machine tool worktable can bear large weight, which requires that the equipment must have the characteristics of large load-bearing and high rigidity, and must have enough table size and working stroke to adapt to it. In addition, the strength and hardness of stamping and stretching die materials are very high. In addition, small-diameter end mills with large elongation are often used to process the stamping and stretching die cavity, so the machining process is prone to chatter. In order to ensure the machining accuracy and surface quality of parts, the high-speed machine tool used for stamping and drawing die manufacturing must have high dynamic and static stiffness to improve the positioning accuracy, tracking accuracy and anti vibration ability of the machine tool.
